Welcome to Shallow Lake Strength & Conditioning

What We Offer

Shallow Lake Strength & Conditioning is a spacious 5,500 sq. ft. athletic facility in Shallow Lake designed to accommodate group training classes, personal training services and open gym hours. Our goal is simple: to pass on our passion for fitness to help you live a longer, stronger and healthier life.  Our class schedule includes CrossFit, Grit Boot Camp, Masters (designed for those 50 years and older), Teens and Kids Classes. Team training and personal training is also offered by our elite coaches. We have built a tight-knit community of people that share a passion for training and motivate each other to reach personal bests. We foster a positive environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels and welcome newcomers with open arms.

On Ramp

If you are new or have never done CrossFit, our On Ramp program will teach you the fundamental movements so you’re prepared when to move into the CrossFit classes. The On Ramp includes six sessions of semi-private, hourly, training with a CrossFit Coach.

Small Classes

We have a variety of classes for all fitness levels, ages and interests, all with smaller class sizes so you receive personalized attention. Visit our Classes page to find descriptions or to register for a class today.

Child Care

We understand the need for child care that suits your schedule. Getting in shape at SLS&C is hassle-free, and we even have a CrossFit Kids program so your wee ones can get fit too.

What is Crossfit?

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. Health and Wellness

The Shallow Lake Health team is a group of passionate professionals dedicated to optimizing the health and wellness of our members.  In addition to our fitness staff, the health team includes Physiotherapist Kerri Edison, Registered Massage Therapist  Lyndsay Budgell and Registered Health & Nutrition Counsellor Cassidy Neiser.
